No Trash, Recycling, or Yard Waste Collection on Memorial Day
All collections will be shifted by one day.
Leesburg, VA (May 22, 2025) – There will be no trash, recycling, or yard waste collection in Leesburg on Monday, May 26 due to the Memorial Day observance. Trash, recycling, and yard waste will be shifted by one day. The revised holiday schedule is as follows:
Monday, May 26 – No collections
Tuesday, May 27 – Northwest and Town-wide yard waste collection
Wednesday, May 28 – Northeast Inside the Bypass
Thursday, May 29 – Northeast Outside the Bypass
Friday, May 30 – Southwest, plus Meadowbrook
Saturday, May 31 - Southeast, except Meadowbrook
There will be no commercial curbside collection on Monday, May 26. Commercial curbside customers will have trash collection Tuesday through Saturday. Recycling collection for commercial curbside customers will be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday as currently scheduled. Customers are encouraged to stay informed about schedule changes, service alerts, and collection reminders by registering their address with RecycleCoach, a digital platform designed to help residents manage waste and recycling more effectively.
