NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Leaf Collection Resumes Oct. 18

Leesburg’s annual fall bulk leaf collection

will start on Monday, October 18, 2021. Residents are asked to follow these guidelines for the collection of fall leaves:

  • Keep leaves away from storm inlets, fire hydrants, and utility boxes.

  • Keep leaf piles within 4 feet of the curb.

  • On streets without curb and gutter, place leaves along the front property line, close to the street.

  • Keep vehicles at least 4 feet away from leaf piles.

  • Do not place equipment or toys near the leaves.

  • Do not mix grass clippings, yard waste, brush, or trash with leaves.

Stump Problems? No Problem

The Grounds Committee is collecting information on stumps in the community for a bulk project to remove them. If you know of a stump near your home or anywhere else in the common area, please use the form below to report it's location and attach a picture by October 31.

Once received, the Grounds Committee will make a recommendation on removal to the Board, so please submit any you see soon!

Taking Out The Trash

In the last few weeks, several objects (such as those pictured below) have been left at curbs and in walkways, streets, and common areas. Please remember that the regular trash collection does not take these types of objects. ANY ITEMS THAT DO NOT FIT IN THE TRASH CAN are considered bulk pickup and must be scheduled with the Town before placing at the curb. Bulk items may only be set out the night before pickup, so please plan accordingly. Check out these helpful links below for more information:
