Spring Inspections

As an annual reminder, as we the weather warms up our community comes back to life! People are walking, flowers are blooming, kids are playing, and repairs are being made! Spring inspections will be conducted in late April through June and reinspections will begin immediately after. Please take time out of enjoying this warm weather to make sure your home is cimpliant with all HOA requirements to avoid those pesky violation notices. And have a happy Spring!

Storm Damage Updates and Reminders

As we progress in recovering from the storm, we would like to thank all homeowners for their patience in this process. At this point, the majority of common area trees that fell or were deemed at risk by a certified arborist have been removed and stump grinding is in progress. The Association plans to submit bids for common area repairs to fences and other assets by the end of this month. We hope that homeowners have fared just as well  and are progressing in their repairs. As we approach spring inspections, we would ask any homes that will not be repaired in the next 30 days to please reach out to us to let us know in advance at hoa@exterhoa.com

Removing Signs

Now that we’ve gotten through the thick of the storm damage and political season, the Association would like to remind residents that no signs are permitted in homeowners yards or in common areas. The only exception are homes that are actively for sale are permitted to have only a single real estate yard sign. No signs are ever permitted to be placed in the public right of way or common area. All common area signs will be removed immediately without notice and violations will be issued for homes with signs that are not allowed.

Storm Damage Assistance

A service is available through the Loudoun Habitat Home Repair Program to help residents restore damage after the storm and potentially assist in paying for it. Loudoun Habitat for Humanity's Home Repair Program covers tasks such as:  exterior painting and material repairs, building or repairing ramps or sheds, building or repairing a porch or deck, gutter repair and cleaning, sidewalk repair, and other necessary accessibility repairs. Please find more information available online here:https://www.loudounhabitat.org/home-repair-program.

Please note, the Association does not endorse, promote, or speak to the veracity of individual services or organizations and homeowners would assume all risk from utilizing such a service.
