We would like to encourage you to take some time between now and the first week of May to scrape away those spotted lanternfly egg masses on your trees. Look on the underside of limbs and fences. They love to lay the eggs on the underside of things parallel to the ground. Consider taking some photos of your scrapings and post them on social media to tell us how many you squashed. Each mass contains 30-50 eggs.
Thank you for your help in keeping this invasive species under control.
