Good Afternoon, Due to the expected heat wave this week, there will be temporary adjustments to the lifeguard schedule on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3, when the highest temperatures are expected. T o help ensure the safety and well-being of the lifeguards: Lifeguard rotations will be limited to 15 minutes in the lifeguard chair, allowing for more frequent breaks. Dear Residents, The Exeter Eagles Swim Team will host two swim meets at the pool this week: Wednesday, June 17 (evening), and Saturday, June 20 (morning). On Wednesday, the pool will close to residents at 4:30 pm for the remainder of the evening. On Saturday, the meet will finish by 11:00 am, but pool opening may be slightly delayed to allow staff to complete safety checks. We would like to encourage you to take some time between now and the first week of May to scrape away those spotted lanternfly egg masses on your trees. Look on the underside of limbs and fences. They love to lay the eggs on the underside of things parallel to the ground. Consider taking some photos of your scrapings and post them on social media to tell us how many you squashed. Each mass contains 30-50 eggs. Thank you for your help in keeping this invasive species under control.
