April 15, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Join us for our annual neighborhood picnic in the park and Easter eggstravaganza! Meet the neighbors and bring a covered dish to our pot-luck picnic. We'll be providing fried chicken, rolls, and beverages, but we're counting on you to bring your famous potato salad or maybe just a bag of chips to share with everyone, whatever works! We'll have fun park games for everyone to enjoy and some great music for a sunny, spring afternoon. For the little ones, we'll have some fantastic Easter games and prizes, egg hunts, and a bouncy house! Everyone can take part in our door prize raffle, enjoy professional face painting, and egg-dying station (bring your own hard boiled eggs!). We're going to have a dog-friendly Easter "treat hunt" for our furry little friends! Of course, it wouldn't be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny, so be sure to bring your camera to get the pics! All children must be registered to participate in the egg hunt, sign in when you arrive.
Community Yard Sale
June 3, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Our annual yard dale is back in force. We're continuing our amazing bazaar at the Stone Clubhouse, where residents have had overwhelming success in selling items. If you're way back in the neighborhood and never can get people to find your place, then join us by registering below. If you're more comfortable where you are, we'll also be advertising using our Exeter Treasure Map which will put a digital pin on your house and be released with all our digital advertising. We'll have signs and advertisements out throughout the Town, as well as digital advertisements, so make sure to get a spot reserved soon! It's free advertising for you either way. Unfortunately, due to lack of participation and volunteers, we'll be ending our annual charity drive and donation transport.
April 29, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Want to help beautify the neighborhood? We're looking for you. We'll be organizing a trash pickup and cleanup that is guaranteed to save money that otherwise would come out of the HOA's budget, which can be used on other projects. We're targeting common areas, playgrounds, and other main spots that need some TLC. We'll be providing equipment and organizing cleanup areas. We're looking for volunteers and organizers who can help us find areas that need it the most and manage our groups of volunteers. By a quick run of the numbers, one project alone (cleaning our monument fences) would save the HOA thousands of dollars. So please, help improve our community and join us today! Got ideas? May 7, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
If you don't play board games, now may be the time to start! Because it's not just board games, it so much more. From 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., we'll be bringing out the games aimed at the more novice or recreational players among us, such as Uno, Candyland, Monopoly, and more. These games aren't just for kids, their for anyone who likes a leisurely game among friends. From 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., we'll be pulling the more advanced and adult-oriented games off the shelf, like Settlers of Catan, Poker, and Exploding Kittens. If you'd like, feel free to bring your own games and find a group of willing participants. Of course, music and light refreshments will be served. Game Nights will be hosted at the Exeter Stone Clubhouse on the first Sunday of each month, from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., starting in May, and are currently confirmed through August.
Movies in the Park
May 13, 8 p.m. - 10 p.m..
Looking a night out, but don't want to go far just to put up with the big crowds, mosquito filled parks, and people trying to sell you stuff before the movie? Me too! While I can't guarantee there won't be mosquitoes, I can guarantee you're going to have a good time. Because these aren't just movies for kids, these are movies for everyone. We'll be running movies on the second Saturday of each month from May through August, around 8 p.m.. In May, we're getting ready for summer adventures with my new obsession, the Trolls movie. In June, it's time to suit up for a showdown unlike anything you've ever seen with X-Men: Apocalypse. In July, nothing is better to beat the heat than to just keeping swimming in the Exeter pool with Finding Dory. And in August it's not quite lover's lane, but it's the most romantic story of all time with The Notebook. Please note these movies have varying parental guidance ratings, up to PG-13. As with all our events, adult supervision is required at all times for anyone under 18. With the exception of July, all movies will be played at the Exeter park by the Stone Clubhouse.
